The Role

As Innovation Analyst you will be responsible for providing operational support to the 28DIGITAL Ecosystem, Education and Innovation activities and help drive delivery of 28DIGITAL activities monitoring and reporting on KPIs, Deliverables, Processes, and Impact.

This role places a strong emphasis on process automation, internal tool development and data-driven project monitoring.

The Innovation Analyst will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital tools that enhance operational efficiency and ensure data quality and traceability across the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze data (e.g. KPI results, budget, etc.); provide suitable presentations / visualizations for 28DIGITAL management.
  • Support improvement of relevant IT infrastructure and tooling (e.g. Project Management, CRM and visualization tools) in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Design, build and maintain internal tools to support day-to-day operations
  • Automate data pipelines and reporting processes, ensuring high data quality, consistency and compliance with EIT/EU requirements.
  • Manage and analyze data (e.g. KPI results, budgets, project metadata) and provide meaningful visualizations and insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other teams to continuously improve project monitoring infrastructure and documentation practices.

  • Provide hands-on support to all stakeholders of 28DIGITAL, especially with respect to achieving goals in terms of KPIs, Deliverables, Processes, and Impact.
  • Track and monitor progress of 28DIGITAL activities and provide day-to-day operational support to the teams.
  • Monitor activities risks and support teams to mitigate them.

  • Support the development of new standard templates, procedures and processes and identify opportunities to improve existing ones.
  • Support the key annual processes of 28DIGITAL (formal reporting to the EIT/European Commission, quarterly reporting, business plan preparation).
  • Prepare data and input for the yearly budget planning and carry out data profiling to identity and solve anomalies.

Profile Required

  • Postgraduate, STEM preferred or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in digital innovation / technology sector.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience with data management.
  • Knowledge of IT tools including MS 365 suite, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with managing operational tasks and processes.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Understanding of EU project lifecycle and reporting processes is considered a plus.
  • Hands-on and can-do attitude with high level of commitment to duties, timelines and deadlines.
  • Ready to work effectively in complex and dynamic multiparty environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams.

Languages

Excellent command of English is required. Additional EU languages are considered an asset.

Employment

This is a full-time position. Employment at one of the 28DIGITAL European offices can be considered. Applicant may be required for occasional travel to other 28DIGITAL European offices.
