A 16-hour online programme for entrepreneurs who want to level up their startup. Developed and delivered by the expert teams of 28DIGITAL, the European Platform for Sport Innovation (EPSI), and the European Business Angels Network Sports (EBAN Sports), with contributions from executive speakers and industry leaders.

Overview

Building and scaling a sports tech startup is an exciting yet demanding journey. Founders must navigate evolving market dynamics, industry regulations, business growth challenges, fundraising, and the unique complexities of the sports ecosystem. Success requires resilience, adaptability, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of both technology and sport.

Sports Master has been created by 28DIGITAL, EPSI (European Platform for Sport Innovation), and EBAN Sports (the sports-focused community of the European Business Angel Network) to equip sports tech founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators with the knowledge, skills, and network needed to successfully launch, grow, and scale their ventures.

Through ten practical modules, participants will gain valuable insights into the entire startup lifecycle—from product-market fit and business planning to marketing, sales, fundraising, and exit strategies. Each session is designed specifically for the realities of building a company in the sports industry.

Course Duration & Commitment

The course requires a commitment of two hours per week for 10 weeks.

Regular attendance is crucial to maximize the benefit of Sports Master participation. As such, certificates of completion will only be granted to those who attend a minimum of 8 sessions. Although no prerequisites are defined for the course, we believe that entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving attitude are relevant requirements to fully benefit from the programme.
