As part of its strategic expansion of international academic and industry collaborations, our Master School is introducing the Master of Business Excellence, a transatlantic double-degree programme designed to foster cross-border innovation, talent development, and institutional partnership.
The two-year programme is delivered in collaboration with Aalto University in Finland and Seton Hall University, creating a multi-campus learning model that integrates European and U.S. perspectives on business, technology, and innovation.
Participants begin their journey in Helsinki—one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs—before continuing in the United States, engaging directly with a dynamic and globally influential market environment.
This structure reflects a broader commitment to building interconnected educational ecosystems that bridge academia, industry, and entrepreneurship across regions. The programme is designed not only to educate future leaders, but also to serve as a platform for collaboration between universities, corporate partners, and innovation communities.
At its core, the Master of Business Excellence focuses on the integration of strategy, finance, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, including artificial intelligence. Through a “learning-by-doing” approach aligned with the EIT framework and the Knowledge Triangle, participants work on real-world challenges in close collaboration with industry stakeholders, contributing to applied research, market-driven problem solving, and cross-border teamwork.
Innovation and entrepreneurship are embedded throughout the curriculum, offering opportunities for partners to engage in venture development, co-creation projects, and innovation initiatives that extend beyond the classroom.
“Programmes like this are not only about educating individuals—they are about building ecosystems,” said Salvatore Moccia, Education & Skills Director at 28DIGITAL. “By connecting institutions, companies, and innovation communities across continents, we create a shared platform where talent development, applied research, and business transformation can evolve together.”
Graduates earn a double degree from both partner institutions, reflecting a model of academic excellence combined with international integration. For partner organisations, the programme offers access to a diverse talent pool, opportunities for collaborative projects, and engagement in a global network focused on digital transformation and sustainable growth.
The Master School welcomes expressions of interest from universities, corporations, and innovation stakeholders interested in co-developing similar international programmes and contributing to a growing ecosystem of cross-border education and industry collaboration.
