Calling All Startups: 28DIGITAL Is Scouting the Next Physical AI Innovators for STMicroelectronics
28DIGITAL has launched a new strategic scouting initiative on behalf of global…
At 28DIGITAL, we invest in companies that combine technological innovation with measurable social impact. That is why we are proud to have participated in the €1.3 million funding round of Sirius Game, the Italian EdTech startup redefining how people learn through scientifically grounded game-based learning.
The round was led by FuturED, the National Accelerator Program of CDP Venture Capital developed in partnership with H-FARM, with participation from 28DIGITAL, Trentino Invest, Ultra VC, Add Value.
The investment will support Sirius Game’s next phase of growth, focused on technological development, expansion across Italian and international education systems, and accelerated growth in the corporate learning market.
Our relationship with Sirius Game began well before this funding round. Between January and June 2025, 28DIGITAL supported the company with an investment of approximately €220,000, with the final tranche completed in February 2026. These resources contributed to the development of JOY, Sirius Game’s innovative learning platform for primary schools, created in collaboration with the Free University of Bolzano, the University of Riga, Gruppo Editoriale La Scuola and Epson Italia.
What initially attracted us to Sirius Game was not only the strength of its technology, but also the vision of its founding team. Led by CEO Laura Cesaro and built by an entirely female founding team, the company addresses a challenge shared by both schools and organizations: learning is often passive, disengaging and ineffective in the long term.
Sirius Game tackles this challenge through a methodology that combines pedagogy, technology and scientific evidence. Through storytelling, missions, challenges and interactive experiences, learners become active participants in the educational process while developing critical thinking, collaboration and digital skills. The model has proven relevant across both educational and corporate environments, making it particularly well positioned to address the evolving needs of lifelong learning.
Beyond capital, our partnership has evolved into a strategic collaboration. Several members of the Sirius Game team have participated in the 28DIGITAL Speed Master program, while the company has benefited from ongoing mentorship and strategic guidance from our Ecosystem Leads Andrea Conti and Cristian Frigo.
Today, the partnership is entering a new phase. Alongside our role as investors and now shareholders, we are collaborating on commercial development initiatives, participating jointly in industry events and supporting the growth of Sirius Game’s corporate training and AI Literacy programs.
We see significant opportunities at the intersection of education, workforce development and artificial intelligence, areas where Sirius Game is building solutions with the potential to create lasting impact.
At 28DIGITAL, we believe the future of education will be more engaging, more personalized and more effective. Sirius Game represents exactly the kind of company capable of helping shape that future, and we are excited to continue supporting its journey as it expands its impact across schools, organizations and international markets.
