COcyber Roundtable on Defence-Civilian Synergies in Cybersecurity

This COcyber High-level Dual-use and Synergy Roundtable, hosted by ULB scientific lead Professor Georges Ataya of Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (ULB), will bring together representatives from EU institutions, NATO, national authorities, industry, research organisations and academia to explore concrete pathways for strengthening civil–defence cooperation in cybersecurity.

The roundtable will focus on identifying strategic synergies between civilian and defence cybersecurity actors, discussing findings from the COcyber Needs Assessment (D2.2), and examining opportunities for skills framework consolidation, including alignment between Belgian CyFun and NIST v2.

It will also showcase ongoing EU research and innovation initiatives, explore dual-use cases and their operational applications, address education, skills development and workforce preparedness, strengthen cooperation on incident management and threat intelligence exchange, and present the COcyber platform, its community and associated analytics tools.

Participants are invited to register via the link below to secure their place.

In-person attendance is limited, and registration is also required for online participation, as only registered participants will receive the access link.

The event is supported by the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).
