Helping SMEs punch above their weight
Despite the name, SMEs are anything but small. Generating around EUR 12 million in revenue, small and medium sized enterprises are the economic backbone of Europe. Furthermore, accounting for about 31% of the EU’s total annual turnover and employing nearly half of all people employed by an enterprise, Europe’s nearly 26.1 million SMEs are essential to European competitiveness.
While these numbers are certainly worth celebrating, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels. That’s because today’s SMEs face numerous challenges, including the need to digitalise.
Whether it be due to limited technology, a lack of skilled personnel, or concerns about cybersecurity, Europe’s SMEs are at risk of missing out on the many benefits of digitalisation.
This is where the SME4DD project comes in.
To make sure SMEs continue to punch above their weight, we are proud to offer a wide range of courses, training opportunities, workshops and webinars covering such topics as artificial intelligence, blockchain and cybersecurity. You can learn more about our courses here.
By preparing Europe’s SMEs for the digital decade, we’re helping future-proof Europe’s global competitiveness.
