SME4DD Talks AI, Blockchain and Cybersecurity at Italian Tech Week
In October, SME4DD was in Turin, Italy for Italian Tech Week!
As the place where the best tech leaders meet, this year’s event featured over 180 world class speakers and more than 45 master classes – including two hosted by the SME4DD project.
The first workshop, ‘AI for Cybersecurity: What’s Real, What’s Next’, covered such topics as:
- Practical ways AI is already helping teams detect threats faster
- How AI will reshape both attacks and defence – and what SMEs can do now to prepare
- Why cybersecurity isn’t just an IT task – it’s a business capability
Our second workshop was all about sports and technology.
Through concrete use cases, the course, entitled ‘The Future of Sports Between Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain’, gave participants a behind the scenes look at the use of data in sports.
“The amount of sports-related data being generated is constantly growing, opening new scenarios and opportunities, including predictive models for injury prevention, advanced training techniques, enhancing the fan base and radically transforming the sports entertainment experience,” explained a presenter.
