The story of modern capitalism can be traced through the S&P 500: from factories to…
Over the past weeks, the EIT Digital Master School of 28DIGITAL has significantly expanded its international outreach, engaging with hundreds of prospective students and stakeholders across Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and India, while also strengthening connections with neighbouring European non-EU countries such as Albania and on the other side of the Atlantic, planning an outreach in USA.
This global engagement reflects our commitment to attracting top digital talent to Europe and reinforcing the EIT Digital Master School as the leading deep-tech education pathway aligned with the EU’s strategic priorities on advanced skills, innovation and enterpreneurship opportunities.
The recent South-East Asia tour started in Hanoi, Vietnam, where the team participated in the European Higher Education Week 2025 for a second time this time on stage discussing synergies between the EU funding programmes accessible to Vietnamese institutions and citizens.
The tour continued with the 17th European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2025 in Yogyakarta and Jakarta, Indonesia, where interest in EU mobility programmes remains very strong.
In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, productive meetings with local institutions and involvement in the Study in Europe Fair 2025 opened new pathways in an increasingly dynamic academic environment with the top tech and innovation higher education organisations in the country that joined an info session.
The journey then concluded in Bangkok, Thailand, with university visits to King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and Mahidol University, a touchpoint with Assumption University and the prestigious Chulalongkorn University, and a presentation at the OCSC EXPO 2025 and its Podcast Stage—an important platform for Thai students interested in pursuing deep-tech studies in Europe.
Beyond South-East Asia, outreach activities also extended to India, a strategic market with growing demand for digital education opportunities, as well as to Albania in South-East Europe, where interest in European innovation-focused programmes continues to rise. More engagements across the world and in particular the USA are coming up.
With applications now open for the EIT Digital Master School, we strongly encourage all prospective students—especially non-EU applicants—to submit their applications by February to ensure timely processing and full access to their preferred study paths across Europe.
Call to Action: Help us spread the word. Share this opportunity with your network, and students. Together, let’s attract more global digital talent to Europe or highlight what 28DIGITAL has to offer to students from across the EU.
