Continuing the Journey: From Local to Global

From Local to Global is a 5-part webinar series designed to explore the startup and investment ecosystems of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Finland, while highlighting the opportunities available for founders aiming to scale across Europe and beyond. Each session focuses on one country in the Baltic Sea Region, combining ecosystem insights, expert knowledge, and real success stories to help startups strengthen their growth trajectory and connect with the right stakeholders.

After great sessions with Estonia and Latvia, we’re now moving forward with Event 3: Deep Tech & the European Investment Ecosystem, where the spotlight turns to Lithuania. This session will explore how deep tech innovation is driving new investment opportunities across Europe — and what startups can do to position themselves for success in this fast-evolving landscape.

You’ll hear from Rūta Grėskaitė, representing Startup Lithuania, who will share insights from Lithuania’s growing deep tech ecosystem and highlight key initiatives supporting startups in the region. Andrius Milinavičius, Partner at BSV Ventures, will offer the investor perspective on the opportunities and challenges shaping deep tech financing in Europe. The session will be moderated by Sophia Phillips, Ecosystem Specialist at 28DIGITAL, who works closely with regional and European partners to foster scaleup growth and cross-border collaboration.

Through practical discussions, expert perspectives, and ecosystem insights, this session will uncover how deep tech startups can engage effectively with investors, access EU-level support mechanisms, and navigate the complexities of scaling innovative technologies internationally. Whether you’re a founder, investor, or ecosystem enabler, this event offers valuable takeaways on how to thrive in Europe’s competitive innovation landscape.
